Predictive and diagnostic simulation of in situ electrical heating in contaminated, low-permeability soils
Article Abstract:
A three-dimensional computer model is used in this study to prove that uniformity of heating can be improved by increasing the number of electrical phases used in supplying current to the electrode. The study is broken down into an introduction, a description of the basic ohmic heating model, a description of the numerical solution technique, a description of the ohmic heating module and initial heating effects, a description of electrical heating and vapor-phase partioning, and a discussion of the results.

Concentrations of organochlorine substances in relation to fish size and trophic position: a study on perch
Article Abstract:
The study was used to evaluate the significance of trophic position as a determinant of the concentrations of organochlorine substances in fish. Perch was the fish used in the study because its trophic level rises over time. The study is broken down into an introduction, discussion of the materials and methods used, and a discussion of the results.
