Corps to restore Louisiana coast
Article Abstract:
Human and natural factors have reduced the Louisiana's coastal wetlands by 1.2 million acres. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers along with Louisiana Department of Natural Resources have come up with a number of restoration projects and research program for developing new methods for preventing the loss of coastal wetlands.
