Modeling the adsorption of metal-EDTA complexes onto oxides
Article Abstract:
The surface complexation model describes the adsorption of metal-ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA) complexes onto various oxides including aluminum oxides, crystalline and amorphous iron oxides. Several models interpreted the adsorption of NiEDTA onto various oxides, with log K values in one model agreeing with each other. An adsorption edge was noted and explained by anionic and cationic surface complexes.
