Enduring strength
Article Abstract:
This article discusses methods and materials used in strengthening bridges on a long-term basis. Research shows that posttensioning in bridges is one of the strengthening measures whose long-term effectiveness depends on the resilency of the tendons. In order to protect from marine environmental factors, these posttensioned concrete bridges use special grouting technology.
