Effect of rhamnolipids produced by Pseudomonas aeruginosa UG2 on the solubilization of pesticides
Article Abstract:
This study was used to compare the ability of a rhamnolipid mixture (made by Pseudomonoas aeruginosa UG2) with that of Triton X-100 surfactant to solubilize atrazine, trifluralin and coumaphos pesticides. The study is broken down into an introduction, a discussion of the materials and methods used in the experiment, and a discussin of the results. Various tables and graphs accompany the table.

Evidence for atmospheric transport and deposition of polychlorinated biphenyls to the Lake Tahoe Basin, California-Nevada
Article Abstract:
Polychlorinated biphenyl (PCB) congener concentrations in air, water, fish and snow were taken and correlated with PCB mass budget to produce evidence for atmospheric transport and deposition of PCB in the alpine lake region of the Lake Tahoe Basin. The results were likewise compared with the PCB concentrations found in nearby Marlette, and showed similar PCB concentrations in fish and water samples.
