Evolutionary biologist Margie Profet has become a controversial figure in the scientific community because of her three evolutionary theories, which are explained in detail in her book, 'Protecting Your Baby-to-Be.' One theory says that pungent vegetables can cause birth defects to the embryo. The other two proposes that allergies are a way for the body to expel plant toxins.
