Extrasolar Giant Planets and Brown Dwarfs
Article Abstract:
Brown dwarfs are thought to be substellar objects of less than ~0.08 M. These objects remain officially undetected, leaving their existence in doubt. Researchers are getting closer to confirming their existence as direct photometric and spectroscopic measurements become possible with new technologies.
