Flaw of averages: Is ordinary matter causing the cosmos to accelerate?
Article Abstract:
A group of cosmologists contended that the acceleration of cosmic expansion is among the biggest mysteries of modern science and an odd effect. It could be the most formal explanation for acceleration proposed, requiring neither exotic forms of energy nor new laws of physics, a careful accounting of how gravity interconnects structures of different size.

Too cold for comfort
Article Abstract:
Astronomers state that the cold grip of dark energy's repulsive gravity is strangling the formation of large cosmic structures. The gravitational repulsion of dark energy will offset galaxies gravitational attraction and finally would deaden their motion.
