The live electronic music group Gentle Fire, is discussed, from its formation in 1968 to its last concert in 1975. Topics include British electronic music in the 1960s, how Gentle Fire came into existence, group members and instrumentation, collaborations, unusual performances and other projects, special instruments and electronic equipment, repertoire, "Group Compositions"and other specially composed works.

Space-dis-place: How sound and interactivity can reconfigure our apprehension of space
Article Abstract:
All spaces contain within themselves their own perceptual logics. An examination of the plasticity of the perceptual spaces generated by sound and interactivity is presented and the manner, in which their dynamic relationships to other perceptual spaces affect the overall human perception of the space they are in, is described.
