How the brain processes social information: Searching for the social brain
Article Abstract:
Studies of the four aspects of social information processing: a) perception of social signals via the vomeronasal system, b) formation of social memory via long-turn filial imprinting and short-term recognition, c) motivation for parental behavior and pair bonding and d) the neural consequences of social experience are reviewed. Results from these studies begin to define the circuitry of a osocial braino.

Noncoding RNAs in the mammalian central nervous system
Article Abstract:
The diversity and the abundance of noncoding RNA (ncRNA) are explored and specific examples that illustrate their importance in the central nervous system (CNS) are presented. The modern ncRNAs are found to constantly enhance the ability of organisms to adapt to the environment.
