Impacts of airborne contamination on regional soil and water quality: the Kola Peninsula, Russia
Article Abstract:
Researchers from the Geological Survey of Norway revealed in a study that emissions of sulfur dioxide from various industries such as nickel, smelters, roasting plant, and refinery on the Kola Peninsula, Russia, do not lead to the acidification of soil humus, mineral soil, or lake water within the area.
