Jupiter hits may be palpable after all
Article Abstract:
Astronomers predict the the 1994 collision between Jupiter and Shoemaker-Levy will be observable and scientifically valuable. Data from the Hubble Space Telescope indicate that the comet's largest fragments are at least two to 2.5 kilometers in diameter.

New satellite images of the Earth's upper atmosphere confirm the presence of the spots first reported by Lou Frank. However, other scientists do not agree with Frank's theory that the spots are the remnants of house-sized comets.
