The rate of urbanization is slow in developing countries such as China and India and in underdeveloped countries such as Ethiopia and Bangladesh. Growth in urbanization leads to several problems of lack of drinking water, sewage disposal, police protection and lack of other amenities.

Freshwater fish at risk in the US
Article Abstract:
Freshwater fishes are facing the threat of extinction as a result of massive agricultural runoff, water diversion and ecological imbalance. Data revealed that 36% of species native to rivers and lakes are at risk, together with other freshwater animals, such as amphibians.
