Article Abstract:
The Developing World-Class Products conference held by the Confederation of British Industry was held at the Centre Point in London, England on Sep 21, 1992. There was little emphasis on design in relation to product development, but other aspects such as innovation, empowerment in managment and getting closer to customers and suppliers were adressed. William Woollard of Tommorows World chaired the conference and claimed that the future lay with innovations from smaller companies.

The latest trend in design reveals simplicity, thus the term Ordinary. The Ordinary designs, as seen on almost everything including kitchens, vehicles, fashion, tables, electric fans and house designs, revive an American ancient culture that reveals simplicity, certainty, strength and comfort.

Naked mole rats
Article Abstract:
Naked mole rats live in groups and learn inter-dependence because of low food distribution, difficulty in burrowing and and an unfriendly environment. Research has shown their culture is involved in specialization of tasks and cooperative care of their young.
