The Roper Organization Inc conducted a survey to determine environmental attitudes, concentrating on the balance between the environment and cost. Most Americans were concerned about the environment and favored shifting government funds, but opposed new taxes specifically for the environment.

Violating the public trust: uses and abuses of public resources
Article Abstract:
Public lands and the fish within 200 miles of the shore belong to US citizens. These resources are held in trust by the government, yet are used commercially by the mining, timber and fishing industries. It is time the government stopped subsidizing the use of public resources.

Can NASA be saved from itself?
Article Abstract:
NASA's penchant for extravagant space missions in the past should be blamed for the financial problems that hound the agency. NASA needs to change this attitude under its new management or it could face total bankruptcy.
