Neptune, Velikovsky and the name of the game
Article Abstract:
The discovery of Neptune in the 1840s was seen as a successful prediction of Newtonian theory, and successful prediction became the sign of acceptable theory. Velikovsky's expected scientists to accept his theories about Venus and Jupiter because his predictions were accurate, but they did not.

Four CD-ROMs on astronomy are rated. The prices range from $99 for MegaStar: Deep Sky Atlas 2.11 to $199 for TheSky: Astronomy Software Level III 2.0. Distant Suns: First Light has the best graphics of the four programs, while TheSky is recommended for serious stargazers.
