Canada's Hornaday River runs about 280 kilometers through Bluenose, a national park. A team of nature-trippers' 16-day canoe trip along this tundra river was memorable; the grizzlies, wolves and caribous were an exciting sight. The fog and snow led them into an awesome but long trek to Paulatuk.
