Zinc and Alzheimer's disease
Article Abstract:
The accuracy of a claim that zinc ions enhances aggregation of beta-amyloid protein, associated with Alzheimer's disease, is disputed. The original paper is said to include evidence that copper and mercury also contribute to the aggregation. A reply is included.
