This article discusses the reconstruction efforts at the Ford Parkway Bridge that links Minneapolis and St. Paul. It is listed in the National Register of Historic Places which calls for precise replicas usage in the reconstruction program. The reconstruction plan includes casting columns up to 55 feet long and floor beams, spandrel beams, and the cantilever brackets.

This article discusses the measures that are considered necessary to increase the clearance at the Wayne Creek crossing, Norfolk, Virginia to protect the underside of the bridge touching the salt water below. The proposed structure includes vertical extensions of the piles with a shallower superstructure to elevate the height of the crossing.
