Shaking the tree: will statistical analysis of DNA pinpoint human origins?
Article Abstract:
Research tracing the origin of modern Homo sapiens to Africa has many critics. The research, conducted by a group led by geneticist Allen C. Wilson, used the DNA of living people to develop a tree of human populations. Criticisms of the research are discussed.
