The big picture

The society has a misinterpreted image of scientists, as revealed by some a survey of American high school students on the subject. Majority of the students' drawings show a misconception of scientists. The study could mean that public perception can make students disinterested in science.

Issues are presented concerning the decrease which has occurred in the reported sightings of unidentified flying objects received by the British Flying Saucer Bureau. The reasons for the decrease are discussed.
