The countless number of moose sighted in Algonquin Park makes the woodland one of the most visited scenic spots in Ontario, Canada. Recently, the total population of moose has slightly decreased due to the increasing number of traffic accidents in the area.

Marten manipulations

There are less than 300 pine martens left in the wild in Newfoundland, Canada. They are now found only in a few areas of mainly mature forest in western Newfoundland, Gros Morne National Park and a small introduced group at Terra Nova National Park.

Timing spring blooms
Article Abstract:
An overview is presented of the occasional wildflower blooms which occur in the south western desert regions of the United States. It is not fully understood what triggers the blooms, which occur approximately once in every 10 years.
