The Audi 100 CS, Cadillac Seville STS, Lexus ES 300, Mazda 929 and Volvo 960 are tested and evaluated. These are luxury sedans with starting prices in the $30,000 range. Although there was no one clear winner, the Seville is very impressive and luxurious. It is also the most expensive in the group.

Four 1992 coupes are tested and evaluated. The BMW 850i is the most expensive, but is sluggish on US highways. The Cadillac Eldorado TC and Acura Legend LS are the two most comfortable cars. However, the Lexus SC400 is rated as the best overall.
