The new underwater camera from Nikon Corp, the Nikonos RS, needs no housing down to approximately 328 feet. It is much less cumbersome that the previous Nikonos V model, and its operation and results are greatly improved. The RS body alone sells for $3,154, with a zoom lens costing $3,007.
