WRDA reauthorization gains ground in the senate

Article Abstract:

According to the Senate bill the panel reviewed the report developed by the Corps for submission to Congress and 'assess the adequacy of the economic, scientific, and environmental models' used by the Corps to justify the project. The legislation established an advisory committee of technical experts to help the Corps revise its guidelines and regulations pertaining to beach replenishment projects involving large dredge and fill activities.
