Self-determination theory and work motivation
Article Abstract:
The role of self determination theory (SDT) in understanding the motivational bases of organizational behavior is explored. It explains the methods of turning extrinsic motivation into autonomous process. The relation of this theory to other work motivation theories and research agenda in the organizational setting are also examined.

A multiple motive perspective on strike propensities
Article Abstract:
Research investigating the motives behind union members's tendency to strike is presented. Particular attention is given to the relationships between the union and its members, to social positions, economic conditions and members' relationships with their companies.
