Equilibrium production-location decisions under duopoly
Article Abstract:
A study investigates linearity of production-location decisions in a duopoly game. A duopoly model is presented in which two companies utilize two transportable materials in separate locations to come up with a common product to be sold to a single consumption sector. Results reveal that demand changes on each firm's optimum location produce varying results under the one-stage and two-stage games.
