Estimating hospital market pricing: an equilibrium approach using spatial econometrics
Article Abstract:
Hospital market pricing is demonstrated, using price response curves estimated from California data, and spatial econometrics. The theoretical model suggests the effect of the slope of the reaction function on hospital specialization and impact of the shifts in the reaction function on equilibrium prices.

Increasing returns and heterogeinity in a spatial economy
Article Abstract:
A general equilibrium model of global trade and local migration is studied in a continuous geographical space. Incentives for migration are homogenous and heterogeneous. Impact of former contributes to agglomerations while heterogeneous migration fosters regional convergence.
