Four new venues open for national archives holdings
Article Abstract:
An overview of the major components of the National Archives Experience and the presidential library, William J. Clinton Library in Little Rock, Arkansas, is presented. The National Archives and the Records Administration opened four new venues for National Archives holdings in 2004, increasing the access of Americans to the vast holdings of records that document their rights, the actions of their government officials, and the national experience.

Creating the National Archives
Article Abstract:
People concerned about the history of the nation had called for a central archives to preserver federal records, since the early nineteenth century. J. Franklin Jameson, often regarded as the preeminent American historian of his years, was generally credited as the driving force behind the successful campaign that led to the creation of the National Archives Building.
