Global assemblages
Article Abstract:
Global assemblages are the actual configurations through which global forms of techno-science, economic rationalism, and other expert systems gain significance, and are also the tools for global knowledge. The relationship among the elements in an assemblage is not stable, nor is their configuration reducible to a single logic, but is structured through critical reflection, debate and contest.

Globalizations
Article Abstract:
Globalization is a vast social field in which hegemonic or dominant social groups, states, interests and ideologies collide with counter-hegemonic or subordinate groups and ideologies on a world scale. Even the hegemonic camp is fraught with conflicts, but there is a basic consensus among its most influential members that confers on globalization its dominant characteristics.
