Predicting employee aggression against coworkers, subordinates and supervisors: the roles of person behaviors and perceived workplace factors
Article Abstract:
A sample of 136 full-time male employees has shown links between personal factors, such as consumption of alcohol and past history of aggression, and aggression displayed to fellow workers, though organizational factors are more important for aggression displayed to supervisors.

Article Abstract:
Research on anger at work, and how it is perceived at different levels in the hierarchy, is examined in detail. Hate tends to be linked to humiliation, and subordinates are not as likely to be confrontational.
