Psychologization: Psychoanalysis (double) political appointment with history--The Accoyer Amendment revisited
Article Abstract:
The Accoyer Amendment was a bill passed by the French National Assembly aimed at regulating psychotherapy in France with the intention to restrict the practice of psychotherapy to psychiatrists and clinical psychologists. Psuedo-activity was Slavoj Zizek's harsh judgment of J.A. Miller who led the opposition against the French amendment Accoyer, which was accused of imposing a compulsive corset of quality control, a discourse originating in the economic sphere.

The state of psychotherapy and the place of psychoanalysis
Article Abstract:
The current attempts by the British government to regulate psychotherapy and to define modalities of psychotherapeutic practice, including psychoanalysis, are discussed. The debate between the psychoanalysts and psychoanalytic psychotherapists in the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) are discussed in the context of relationships with other professional organizations.
