The effect of turnover on work satisfaction and mental health: support for a situational perspective
Article Abstract:
Research shows that situational factors explain psychological contentment, work satisfaction and mental health better than attitudinal consistency does. A two-year longitudinal field survey was conducted to measure intraoccupational and interoccupational turnover and rate mental health and work satisfaction. Turnover predicted job satisfaction and mental health. Further research using different subjects, observations and occupational variables is required for organizations to control costs related to employee turnover.

The contribution of burnout to work performance
Article Abstract:
A study evaluated the effects of burnout on work performance. Three dimensions of burnout such as emotional exhaustion, depersonalization and diminished personal achievement were evaluated in relation to work performance. Data were derived in two time periods in a human services firm and evaluated using regression analysis. The result revealed that emotional exhaustion greatly affect work performance.

Article Abstract:
The use of hypothesis tests in scientific research has been criticized due to its routine misinterpretation. The limitations of non-informative hypothesis tests and an explication of why confidence intervals should be used instead are presented in this paper.
