The new economy, property and personhood
Article Abstract:
The concept of new economy, which is also called as a virtual, reflexive or network economy, is studied. The studies show that the comparison between relations of labor, ownership and people in the social contract and in the new economy shows a shift especially in relation to gender and the restructuring of the relations between people and labor suggests that the notions of personhood should also be considered rather than the temporality of exchange needs.
