The chloramine concentration in the air may by reduced by increasing the percentage of outside air being brought into the natatorium. Reduction may be accomplished by increased exposure time/chlorine concentration, regular dilution, drawing water from the pool surface and other methods.

Out with the old: revising the saturation index
Article Abstract:
The chemical balance of pool water has historically been measured by the saturation index, which, despite several modifications since its 1929 publication, is outmoded and needs to be replaced. An alternative model is put forward for consideration.
