A hero's welcome
Article Abstract:
The crew of the Concordia, winner of the 1995 America's Cup, were given a hero's welcome when they arrived in Auckland, New Zealand on May 24, 1995. Around 350,000 supporters crowded Queen Street to cheer the team, making the event the biggest party in New Zealand's history.
