A man talks about improving the appearance of an old knotmeter in his boat. The back of the instrument was uncovered leaving it exposed to spray while its aluminum trim ring has seen better days. His efforts included creating a back cover using fiberglass clothing and repainting the ring.

A boat owner repaired and refitted his 22-foot fiberglass racer for short trips to places along the US coast. The boat underwent repainting and cleaning and was also outfitted with a new compression post, aluminum chain plates, lower shrouds, turnbuckles and a bow anchor roller.
