American tennis player Pam Shriver is still involved with tennis, several years after making it to the 1978 US Open finals. She still continues to play competitive tennis, but her involvement is largely behind the scenes. She does television commentary and is on several committees.

Bermuda offers a warm-enough climate, warm and friendly residents and an abundance of sports activities, particularly tennis, to tourists. Although mistakenly reputed to be an expensive vacation spot, Bermuda can present a wide variety of activities for a frugal spirit.
