Article Abstract:
An example of an effective golf swing is illustrated through an analysis of the swing used by 1996 British Open champion Tom Lehman. The athletic Lehman possesses an effective swing that, though not considered to be superior in the classic sense, nevertheless allows him to produce the desired results.

Balance is an essential ingredient in any successful golf swing, therefore golfers should take extra care to develop it. Through a series of easy exercises, golfers can train themselves to produce proper balance throughout the golf swing. Four different balancing exercises are presented.
