Golfers who come in second, can still earn sizable amounts of money. Yet there is something more than just dollars between being first and being second in a major tournament. For some golfers it is the prestige that winning the trophy means, that is more important than just earning money.

Autograph signing is a tradition on the PGA Tour, and many pros bring pens and other materials for indulging fans' requests. However, a growing number of pros are complaining that the level of autograph-seeking has gotten out of control and that they no longer have time to practice.
