A window on the Gulf of Maine
Article Abstract:
An experienced sailor and author of various sailing magazines provides some tips for a two-week vacation cruise from Maine's Tenant Harbor by sailing offshore overnight aboard 'Christmas', a 38-foot Alden Challenger yawl, to a new cruising ground. This two-week cruise helped him to learn that a coastal cruiser can maintain a slim displacement that is hard to attain on a boat equipped for ocean cruising.
