The development and evolution of the modern day piston-sealing rings that were based on the steam engine's rings was discussed. The modern design of piston rings was construed according to movement of gas pressure of compression and combustion in an engine without weakening its strength.

Tire chatter is a very annoying problem in racing or sports motorcycles. Chatter refers to the rapid bouncing motion of the front wheel when the bike is pushed hard in a turn. Putting a damper inside a tire may be a good way to eliminate chatter.
