Alternators and starters
Article Abstract:
The alternator and starter on a boat's engine can be relied on to last as long as the engine if they are kept dry and used often. Failed alternators and starters can be reconstructed with relatively small expense. Most failures are due to internal corrosion because of contact with seawater.
