Artificial worms for trout
Article Abstract:
Trout fishing on a lake where live bait is banned requires a substitute for trout's favorite food, worms. Dri Rind specially tanned, tapered chamois leather strips have the same movement and texture as live worms, and are almost as effective. Rigs and techniques are described.

Companions on a hunt can be more important than whether game is bagged. When hunting plans are stymied by snow or other conditions beyond the hunter's control, good companions can salvage the trip. One such incident is described.

Streams that flow into lakes or ponds offer good trout fishing. Estuaries and inlets have several characteristics that attract trout. Fishing with worms and corn are effective in these locations. Fly fishing is also reliable.
