Article Abstract:

Issues concerning dog training are discussed, with focus on obedience training techniques and devices. A new device called a headcollar is introduced. The device benefits from an oval with a dividing bar and a strap which fits behind the dog's head. This technique has the effect of calming the dog. Training methods and commands are described.

De-skunking the dog: forget the tomato juice ... these three methods really do the job

Article Abstract:

The chemical behavior of mercaptan, the component in a skunk's smell, does not allow it to bond to materials such as tomato juice so these remedies are not 100% effective. But smoke bonds with it and the smell is neutralization immediately. Other methods include using a hydrogen peroxide mix, and commercial Super Odor Eater.
