Bedding isn't always to sleep on: the way your rifle fits together can make it a tack-driver or a no-hoper
Article Abstract:
Stress in rifles can be caused by the way the stock is fitted to the barreled action of the rifle. An improper fitting, or bedding, can cause the rifle to vibrate erratically and to be inaccurate. A poor initial fitting, a warping stock, or an uneven pull by screws can cause the problem.
