Benny Guitron remembers Bar Etch, a Quater Horse gelding who was the first champion in the Green Bridle division of the California Reined Cow Horse Association and was Guitron's first reined cow horse champion. It was because of Bar Etch and the credibility he gave Guitron in the Reined Cow Horse circles that people started having faith in him and send their good horses to be trained.
