Article Abstract:
The marbled murrelet, an endangered species, breeds only in old-growth forests. Headwaters Forest, CA, is home to one of the murrelet groups, but the land is owned by Pacific Lumber Co. Environmentalists are fighting to prevent habitat-destroying logging.
