Elk normally make use of their same summer and winter ranges every year, but a general increase in herd population has led some of the elk to move to new ranges, which may be in lower grassland areas. Hunters may find them there except in the winter, when they may return to the forest shelter.

Change is the name of the game warden
Article Abstract:
The purpose of the game warden was once to protect fish and game, but today they are known as environmental conservation police or conservation wardens. They now perform a wide variety of tasks, very few of which are related to wildlife.
