American Broadcasting Company (ABC) grabbed the opportunity to shoot the 2003 British Open game that is one of its major assignments that would help to gain the attention of American golf fans. The British Open broadcast is a major production challenge for ABC since it has to rely heavily on the images provided by the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC), which telecasts the event in the UK.
